Praying THE ROSARY with the Pope
The steps to praying the Rosary are:
Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin
Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty, from thence He shall
come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of
sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.
Amen.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it
is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who
trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, And blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners, Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Glory Be to Father
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever
shall be, world without end. Amen.
Oh My Jesus
O my Jesus, forgive us of our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls into heaven, especially
those in most need of thy mercy. Amen.
Hail Holy Queen
Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our Life, our Sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor
banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears.
Turn then most gracious advocate, Thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto
us, the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us O Holy
Mother of God, That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.
Final Prayer
Let us pray. O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us
the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries of the Most
Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they
promise, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Nasadiki kwa Mungu, Baba Mwenyezi, mwumba mbingu na dunia. Na kwa Yesu Kristu, Mwanaye wa
pekee, Bwana wetu; aliyetungwa kwa uwezo wa Roho Mtakatifu, akazaliwa na Bikira Maria, akateswa
kwa mamlaka ya Ponsyo Pilato, akasulubiwa, akafa, akazikwa, akashukia kuzimu; siku ya tatu akafufuka
katika wafu; akapaa mbinguni; amekaa kuume kwa Mungu Baba Mwenyezi; toka huko atakuja
kuwahukumu wazima na wafu. Nasadiki kwa Roho Mtakatifu, Kanisa takatifu katoliki, ushirika wa
Watakatifu, maondoleo ya dhambi, ufufuko wa miili, uzima wa milele. Amina.
Baba yetu
Baba Yetu uliye mbinguni, Jina lako litukuzwe. Ufalme wako uje. Utakalo lifanyike Duniani kama
mbinguni. Utupe leo mkate wetu wa kila siku, Utusamehe makosa yetu, Kama tunavyowasamehe na sisi
waliotukosea. Usitutie katika kishawishi, Lakini utuopoe maovuni. Amina.
Salamu Maria
Salamu Maria, umejaa neema Bwana yu nawe. Umebarikiwa kuliko wanawake wote, na Yesu,
mzao wa tumbo lako amebarikiwa. Maria mtakatifo, Mama wa Mungu, utuombe sisi wakosefu, sasa na
saa ya kufa kwetu. Amina.
Atukuzwe Baba
Atukuzwe Baba, na Mwana na Roho Mtakatifu. Kama mwanzo, na sasa, na siku zote, na milele.

Ee Yesu wangu
Ee Yesu wangu, utusamee dhambi zetu, utukinge na moto wa milele, ongoza roho zote Mbinguni hasa za
wale wanao hitaji zaidi Huruma yako.

Salam, Malkia! Mama mwenye huruma uzima tulizo matumaini yetu. Salam! Tunakusihi ugenini sisi
wana wa Eva. Tunakulilia tukilalamika na kuhuzunika huku bondeni kwenye machozi. Haya basi
mwombezi wetu utuangalie kwa macho yako ya huruma, Na mwisho wa ugeni huu utuonyeshe Yesu

Tendo la nne; Yesu anatolewa hekaluni. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie usafi wa moyo.
Tendo la tano; Maria anamkuta Yesu hekaluni. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie kuwatii wakubwa wetu.

uchafu.
Tendo la tatu; Yesu anatiwa miiba kichwani kwa ajili yetu. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie kushinda kiburi.
Tendo la nne; Yesu anachukua Msalaba kwa ajili yetu. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie kuvumilia taabu.
Tendo la tano; Yesu anakufa Msalabani. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie kuwapenda Yesu na Maria.
Tendo la kwanza; Yesu anafufuka. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie kugeuka watakatifu.
Tendo la pili; Yesu anapaa mbinguni. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie kwenda mbinguni.
Tendo la tatu; Roho Mtakatifu anawashukia Mitume. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie bidii katika dini yetu.
Tendo la nne; Bikira Maria anapalizwa mbinguni. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie kufa vizuri.
Tendo la tano; Bikira Maria anawekwa Malkia mbinguni. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie kudumu katika njia njema.
Tendo la kwanza; Yesu anabatizwa Mto Jordani. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie uaminifu kwa ahadi zetu za
ubatizo.
Tendo la pili; Yesu anageuza maji kuwa divai huko Kana. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie kuukoleza
ulimwengu kwa chachu ya enjili.
Tendo la tatu; Yesu anatangaza Ufalme wa Mungu. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie kupokea Ufalme wake
kwa toba ya kweli.
Tendo la nne; Yesu anageuka sura. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie neema ya kuung’arisha ulimwengu kwa
uso wa Yesu.
Tendo la tano; Yesu anaweka Sakramenti ya Ekaristia. Tumwombe Mungu atujalie neema ya kujitoa
sadaka kwa ajili ya wengine.
