Structure of the Novena
Closing Prayer: Conclude with a specific novena prayer to the Holy Family.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray.
O God, who have taught the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit,
grant that in the same Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in his consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Scripture: John 15:12
“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”
Reflection:
The Holy Family is the perfect model of love and charity. Jesus loved unconditionally, Mary’s heart overflowed with motherly love, and Joseph’s actions spoke of a selfless love for his family. Reflect on how love is expressed in your family life.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the example of love shown by the Holy Family. Grant that we may grow in love for You and one another. May our family relationships be rooted in genuine care, patience, and understanding. Amen.

(To be said daily)
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph,

To you we turn with trust.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
Grant that our families, too, may be places of communion and prayer,
Authentic schools of the Gospel,
And small domestic churches.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
May families never again experience violence, rejection, or division;
May all who have been hurt or scandalized find ready comfort and healing.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
Make us once more mindful of the sacredness and inviolability of the family,
And its beauty in God’s plan.

Scripture: Hebrews 11:1
“Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
Reflection:
The Holy Family trusted in God’s plan, even when it was unclear. Mary said “yes” to the angel Gabriel, Joseph obeyed the angel’s message in his dreams, and Jesus fulfilled His Father’s will. How do we trust God in uncertain times?
Prayer:
Lord, we ask for faith like that of the Holy Family. Help us trust in Your divine plan for our lives, even when it is difficult to understand. Strengthen our family’s faith and keep us close to You in all circumstances. Amen.
