Established on Easter Sunday 2017, we continue our spiritual journey inspired by the Early Church model
St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta SCC was established on Easter Sunday in 2017. Our founding members, baptized and confirmed during the Easter Vigil, came together to continue their spiritual and social journey in faith.
Inspired by Acts 2:42–47 and the model of the Early Church, our community embodies fellowship, unity, and service under the patronage of St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
To serve Christ through works of mercy and charity inspired by St. Mother Teresa.
To nurture spiritual growth and emulate St. Mother Teresa’s dedication to serving the poorest and the needy.
St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta
St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta, canonized on September 5, 2016, dedicated her life to serving “the poorest of the poor.” Born in Skopje, Macedonia (August 26, 1910) and passing away in Kolkata, India (September 5, 1997).
She founded the Missionaries of Charity in 1950 — a congregation committed to works of mercy and compassion. Her tireless service earned her international recognition, including the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.
