About our COMMUNITY

The Sacred Heart of Jesus Group (SHJG) at Holy Family Minor Basilica is a faith community devoted to fostering love, reparation, and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The group emphasizes prayer, spiritual reflection, and acts of love for God and neighbour, helping members grow in holiness and active parish life.

Spiritual Guidance: The group operates under the spiritual guidance and support of their chaplain, Rev. Fr. Rebert, who ensures that all activities are rooted in Catholic teaching and pastoral care.

To be a Christ-centered community, reflecting the love and mercy of the Sacred Heart in daily life.

Mission

To deepen devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through prayer, reparation, and active service, transforming lives and strengthening parish faith life.

Our Objectives

  • Promote acts of love, service, and reparation in parish and community life.
  • Encourage spiritual growth through prayer, retreats, and liturgical participation.

Activities

Membership
Membership is open to baptized and practicing Catholics devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

  • Meetings: 1st and 3rd Friday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
  • Members are encouraged to actively participate in parish life and community outreach.
