About our COMMUNITY

The Charismatic Renewal Group (CRG) at Holy Family Minor Basilica is a vibrant faith community committed to fostering a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. The group emphasizes prayer, praise, worship, and the exercise of charisms (spiritual gifts) for personal growth and the service of the parish.

Spiritual Guidance: The CRG operates under the spiritual guidance and support of their chaplain, Rev. Fr. Dr. Michael Ndichu, who ensures the group’s activities are rooted in sound Catholic teaching and pastoral care.

To be a Spirit-filled community, experiencing God’s presence in worship, prayer, and service.

Mission

To cultivate a living encounter with the Holy Spirit through praise and worship,prayer, and charisms, transforming lives and strengthening parish faith life.

Our Objectives

  • Foster a personal and communal experience of the Holy Spirit.
  • Encourage spiritual growth and renewal among members.
  • Provide opportunities for service, outreach, and evangelization.
  • Strengthen parish life through prayer, praise, and worship active participation in liturgy.

Activities

  • Weekly praise and worship sessions, including music and prayer.

Join Our Community

Membership is open to baptized and practicing Catholics who desire a deeper encounter with the Holy Spirit and active participation in spiritual renewal.

  • Meetings:Every Friday from 6:00 pm to 7:30p.m for prayers and sharing the word of God.
  • Members are encouraged to participate actively in parish life and share their gifts for service.
