Christmas

The Christmas season celebrates the mystery of the Incarnation — God becoming man in the person of Jesus Christ. It is a time of joy and thanksgiving, as the Church rejoices in the light of Christ coming into the world.
Ordinary Time
Focus: Growth in faith and daily Christian living
Ordinary Time invites the faithful to reflect on the life and teachings of Jesus. Through the Gospel readings, the Church meditates on Christ’s ministry and calls believers to live out their faith in everyday life.
Lent
Focus: Repentance, conversion, and renewal
Lent is a penitential season marked by prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. It is a time of spiritual renewal, calling the faithful to turn away from sin and prepare for the celebration of the Lord’s Resurrection at Easter.
The Easter Triduum
Focus: The Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Christ
The Sacred Triduum is the heart of the liturgical year. Beginning with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday and concluding with Evening Prayer on Easter Sunday, it commemorates the saving events of Christ’s suffering, death, and resurrection.
Easter
Focus: Resurrection and new life
The Easter season celebrates Christ’s victory over sin and death. It is a joyful time that proclaims the Resurrection and culminates in Pentecost, when the Church celebrates the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles.
